Orders placed during our Halloween season (October 1st - 31st) which meet eligibility requirements can be Returned. Customers must receive Return Authorization from Customer Service, and eligible items will incur a 15% restocking fee* on the cost of the merchandise returned. Orders placed during the Halloween season which are eligible for return must be post-marked for return before October 30th. Items returned without authorization will be subject to a 20% restocking fee*. Thank you for understanding.

Items returned outside the 30 days are not eligible for a refund. You do NOT need a Return Merchandise Authorization number. RETURN ELIGIBILITY POLICY:

We do our best to ensure your satisfaction when purchasing from us. However, if you feel that you need to return or exchange an item, we want to help make this an easy and hassle-free process for our customers. To be subject for a return or exchange, an item must be:
-   in the same condition as when it arrived
-   in its intact original packaging
-   unworn and without signs of wear
-   items must not have been washed or altered in any way
-   not missing any parts or items
-   an eligible return item (see below for non-returnable items)

NOTE: CostumeStore.com does not issue return labels in your order shipment. However, you are welcome to use whichever basic method of return shipping you see fit: standard UPS Ground or regular US postal service mail.
Please see below for exchange procedure details.

Refunds are given for the cost of the merchandise only. CostumeStore cannot reimburse for costs of shipping - return shipping or the original shipping charge. We apologize for any inconvenience on this matter.

**If an item is returned damaged, not in its original condition, or shows signs of wear, the customer may receive only a 50% refund on the cost of the merchandise. If an item is returned without the packing slip, we cannot guarantee a refund.

    CostumeStore will NOT guarantee a refund if the following items are returned:

  • Facial hair - beards, mustaches or brows - which have been opened
  • Cosmetics - makeup, face paint, eyelashes, glitter, spirit gum, etc. - which have been opened
  • Undergarments and lingerie
  • Hosiery, gloves or socks that do not have intact, original packaging
  • Footwear that shows signs of wear
  • Prosthetics with open packaging
  • Any item worn in the mouth (such as teeth)
  • Jewelry accessories without original packaging
  • Party supplies or decorations
  • Costumes that have been worn or show signs of wear. We also will not accept accessory items that have been used and do not have their intact original packaging.

TO RETURN OR EXCHANGE:

Step 1: Check to see if the item you wish to return is a returnable item (see above for list of non-returnable items).

Step 2: Contact our friendly Customer Service team to receive Return Authorization.
Customer Service is available Monday - Friday, 9:00am to 5:00pm CST by phone at 1-800-909-7867 or by email at customerservice@costumestore.com.

Step 3: Wait to receive authorization with return or exchange instructions from Customer Service. You are more than welcome to place your new exchange order before returning the items you wish to exchange. Simply inform customer service of your new order number.

*Returns MUST include the invoice packing slip (or a copy of it). This was included in your original shipment. Without this invoice, CostumeStore cannot guarantee your refund.

All returns are subject to the standard 15% restocking fee on merchandise returned. This restocking fee is waived if you place a new Exchange order with us. We cannot reimbursed for costs of shipping.


If you receive an item that is different than what you ordered, or if you received an item that is defective, you must contact CostumeStore customer service and notify us of the issue.

Please note: if an item is returned without exchange or customer service authorization, we cannot guarantee your refund.

Is the item you received ripped, torn, broken, or incomplete? Please report the nature of the received defective item to CostumeStore customer service immediately at customerservice@costumestore.com or by phone at 800-909-7867. Your email must include your name and order number, as well as the nature of the defect. If the ordered item is still in stock, we will replace and send the correct item promptly.
During the Halloween season (October 1st - 31st), please allow up to 10 business days to process your return.

Outside the Halloween season (Nov 1st - Sept 30th) please allow approximately 7 business days to process your refund after we receive your return shipment.

Refused shipments are returned to sender and may take up to 14 business days to process after we receive the shipment.
Please Note: Refused shipments (like unauthorized returns or returns without exchange) are subject to a 15% restocking fee during the refund process.
